It can be hard to find earthy paint colours straight out of the tube and mixing paints can feel a bit daunting.

Do you feel that way? I love painting with earthy colours and often don't have the patience to mix colours. In this short demo video, I show you one simple trick to mix paint to create earthy, muted colours with any colour. It is that easy!! Bringing ease to our creative time keeps us coming back. Supplies:

  • mixed media paper (140lb)

  • filbert brushes (any brush will do or a palette knife)

  • CP Cadmium Orange, Ultramarine Blue, Sap Green Hue, Titanium White, Cadmium Red Medium
